{"id":3092,"date":"2021-01-04T13:31:42","date_gmt":"2021-01-04T09:31:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/qia.az\/en\/?p=3092"},"modified":"2021-01-04T13:31:44","modified_gmt":"2021-01-04T09:31:44","slug":"socar-makes-final-payment-to-canadian-oil-company","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qia.az\/en\/socar-makes-final-payment-to-canadian-oil-company\/","title":{"rendered":"SOCAR makes final payment to Canadian oil company"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has made a final payment of US $ 480,000 to Canada&#8217;s Zenith Energy for the production of the Muradkhanli-Jafarli-Zardab onshore oil fields block,<strong>\u00a0&#8220;Q\u0130A.AZ&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0states, citing the Canadian company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, the Canadian company Zenith Energy has completed the handover process over the Contract Rehabilitation Area for Muradkhanli-Jafarli-Zardab onshore oil fields block to SOCAR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier it was informed that as a result of the delivery, Zenith stopped oil production in Azerbaijan, and about&nbsp;<strong>170&nbsp;<\/strong>employees were transferred to SOCAR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On March 16, 2016, SOCAR and Zenith Aran Oil Company Ltd signed an agreement on the rehabilitation, exploration, development, and production sharing (PSA) of the block, including the Muradkhanli-Jafarli-Zardab oil fields. The Azerbaijani Parliament ratified the agreement on June 14, 2016.
