{"id":4145,"date":"2021-02-18T13:37:00","date_gmt":"2021-02-18T09:37:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/qia.az\/en\/?p=4145"},"modified":"2021-02-18T13:07:56","modified_gmt":"2021-02-18T09:07:56","slug":"solar-energy-generation-down-9-in-azerbaijan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qia.az\/en\/solar-energy-generation-down-9-in-azerbaijan\/","title":{"rendered":"Solar energy generation down 9% in Azerbaijan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In January 2021, the generation and services of Azerbaijan\u2019s sector of production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam amounted to\u00a0<strong>AZN<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>191.1<\/strong>\u00a0million (<strong>$112.4<\/strong>\u00a0million),<strong>\u00a0&#8220;Q\u0130A.AZ&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong>informs, citing the country\u2019s State Statistical Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Compared to the same period last year, the growth was&nbsp;<strong>1.3%.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The production volume in the water supply, waste treatment, and recycling sector increased by&nbsp;<strong>2.2%<\/strong>&nbsp;to amount to&nbsp;<strong>AZN 23.8&nbsp;<\/strong>million (<strong>$14<\/strong>&nbsp;million).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In January 2021, Azerbaijan produced over<strong>&nbsp;2.225<\/strong>&nbsp;billion kWh of electricity, which is&nbsp;<strong>1.8%<\/strong>&nbsp;more than in January 2020.
