Our responsibility is to dispose of medical waste in the hospital correctly. There are certain problems in this area,&#8221; said <strong>Yagut Garayeva<\/strong>, head of the Disease Prevention and Control Department of the Azerbaijani Management Union of Medical Territorial Units<strong><em> <\/em><\/strong>(TABIB).<\/p>\n<p>According to her, all waste in contact with the patient is considered medical waste:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There is a risk of waste from cutting tools in hospitals. Non-perforated plastic containers should be used for such disposal. There are also serious problems in the transportation of waste in our country. This is not a burden that the hospital itself can carry.
