{"id":918,"date":"2020-11-16T13:21:24","date_gmt":"2020-11-16T09:21:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/qia.az\/en\/?p=918"},"modified":"2020-11-16T13:21:25","modified_gmt":"2020-11-16T09:21:25","slug":"georgia-sees-increase-in-covid-19-cases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/qia.az\/en\/georgia-sees-increase-in-covid-19-cases\/","title":{"rendered":"Georgia sees increase in COVID-19 cases"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Georgia has reported 3,157 new coronavirus cases, 30 new deaths, and 3,230 recoveries on November 16,\u00a0Q\u0130A.AZ\u00a0reports via Georgian media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In total, Georgia\u2019s coronavirus cases increased to 82,835, of those 65,291 recovered and 733 died.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, 5,658 persons are under medical observation, 2,735 people under quarantine, and 3,315 more at COVID-Hotels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alexandre Khojevanishvili, Head of Task Force operating at the Inter-Agency Coordination Council on COVID-19 has named the locations where 3,157 new coronavirus cases revealed in the past 24 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The locations are as follows: Tbilisi \u2013 1,249, Adjara \u2013 516, Imereti \u2013 477, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti \u2013 212, Shida Kartli \u2013 181, Kvemo Kartli \u2013 178, Mtskheta-Mtianeti \u2013 121, Guria \u2013 82, Kakheti \u2013 70, Samtskhe-Javakheti \u2013 60, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti \u2013 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Georgia reported its first case of the coronavirus on February 26, 2020.
