“28 years have passed since we left Shusha, but without Shusha, it was so hard that I can’t express it in words, ” 67-year-old Gulbasti Badrikhanova<\/strong>, a Shusha resident who has visited the city for the first time after 30-year separation, told Report<\/a>.<\/p>\n “Thank God, today we are not internally displaced persons. Thank God we are in native Shusha again. Though miraculous it may seem, we are here, we are back,” she said.<\/p>\n “We are back to Shusha thanks to our Supreme Commander, our strong army. I have cried tears of joy today. I cannot believe that I am in Shusha again. It is like I am dreaming. I told my children that I don’t want to die before I see Shusha,” she said. <\/p>\n Gulbasti noted that she left Shusha at the age of 38. She said she does not want to leave the city again.<\/p>\n “I do not want to leave Shusha again, and I pray that the car breaks and we stay here. I took some soil from the Jidir Plain and will scatter it on the graves of my deceased family members and relatives,” the former IDP said.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
