Azerbaijan sees nearly 8% rise in marketable gas production

Azerbaijan produced 14,309,000 tons of crude oil, including gas condensate, in January-May 2021.

Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee that marketable oil amounted to 14,282,000 tons of this volume, down 5.9% from the previous year. Oil production dropped 5.8% in comparison to a year earlier.

In the reporting period, the country produced 17,000,300,000 cubic meters of natural gas, up 3.4% compared to a year earlier.

Of this, marketable gas made up 12,547,400,000 cubic meters, up 7.7% from the previous year.
