The 9th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Russia Joint Commission on Demarcation was held in Baku on July 6-9 under the chairmanship of Deputy Foreign Minister, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for border and the Caspian Sea issues Khalaf Khalafov, and head of the Russian delegation to the Azerbaijan-Russia Joint Commission on Demarcation Amir Bilyaletdinov, Report informs, referring to the Foreign Ministry.
The issues related to the continuation of the demarcation process were discussed, and the documents necessary to conduct and organize field demarcation were approved at the meeting. The installation of border signs will continue in accordance with the Working Plan of the Commission for 2021.
The meeting was held in the spirit of good neighborliness and constructive dialogue.
The next meeting of the Joint Commission will be held in Russia after its date is agreed through diplomatic channels.
