The damage caused to the gas sector following the treacherous shelling by the Armenian troops in the IDPs-populated Shikharkh settlement of the Azerbaijani Tartar district during the Patriotic War is being eliminated, Azerbaijan’s Azerigaz PU told QİA.AZ
“By order of Azerigaz PU General Director Ruslan Aliyev, several construction teams were sent from Baku to the Tartar district. Also, the supply of the necessary equipment is being considered at a high level,” said the company.
“At present, gas supply to 1,172 subscribers has been suspended in 34 residential buildings in the Shikharkh settlement. Residents of only this village in the region aren’t provided with gas,” Azerigaz said.
All problems in other districts in the service area of the Tartar Regional Directorate of Gas Exploitation – Aghdam, Aghjabadi, Barda, Beylagan, and Fuzuli, where the Armenian forces damaged the gas economy during the hostilities, have already been eliminated.
