Azerbaijan posts 5% cost of communication services
In January this year, information and communication enterprises in Azerbaijan provided services worth AZN 177.8 million, including 75.1% in the public sector, “QİA.AZ” informs, citing the State Statistics Committee. During the reporting period, the cost of services provided by information and communication enterprises in Azerbaijan decreased by 5.1%, with private sector accounting for 77% of revenues in this area.
Azerbaijan’s state budget surplus exceeds 1bln manats
Revenues of Azerbaijan’s state budget in January amounted to 2.32 billion manats ($1.36 billion), and expenditures reached 1.23 billion manats ($723.95 million) this year,“QİA.AZ” informs referring to the State Statistics Committee. This is 27.4 and 12.2 percent less compared to the same period last year. As a result, a surplus of 1.08 billion manats ($640.7 million) was formed in the budget.
WB unveils economic growth forecast in Azerbaijan
