Over 1.98 million COVID vaccine jabs administered in Azerbaijan

Some 25,406 people received their anti-coronavirus shots in Azerbaijan today, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told “QİA.az”. Today, 19,332 people were inoculated with their first jab, while 6,074 people got their second dose of the vaccine. To date, 1,986,969 coronavirus vaccine jabs have been administered to the population in Azerbaijan; 1,134,376 citizens have received their first shot only, while 852,593 got both doses.

Azerbaijan reports 219 new coronavirus cases

Azerbaijan has recorded 219 new COVID-19 cases and 717 recoveries over the past day, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told “QİA.az”. Meanwhile, nine patients succumbed to the deadly pathogen. Overall, the country has reported 332,454 cases of infection, 320,708 recoveries, and 4,860 deaths since the onset of the pandemic. At present, 6,886 people are receiving treatment. Azerbaijan has conducted 3,453,244 coronavirus tests over the past period, including 7,211 today.
