Germany recorded 16,290 new cases of coronavirus infection and 110 COVID-related deaths over the past day, “QİA.az” informs, citing the Robert Koch Institute of the Federal German Health Ministry.
According to the institute, 3,416,822 people have contracted the novel coronavirus in Germany.
To date, the country’s COVID death toll has reached 83,192.
A day earlier, the country reported 18,935 new cases and 232 deaths.
On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the outbreak of the new coronavirus infection a pandemic.
