Azerbaijan’s COVID case count exceeds 300,000

Azerbaijan recorded 2,144 new coronavirus cases over the past day, Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told “QİA.az”. Meanwhile, 1,923 people recovered from the infection, while 33 patients lost their lives. So far, 300,666 people have contracted the virus in Azerbaijan, 264,403 have recovered, while 4,140 died. At present, 32,123 people are receiving treatment. Azerbaijan has conducted 3,108,924 COVID-19 tests over the past period, including 12,184 today. QİA.az

Azerbaijan’s natural gas production rises

In January-March this year, Azerbaijan produced 8.753 million tons of oil, down 5.9% from the previous year. In the reporting period, the gas production across the country made up 10.398 billion cubic meters, which is 4.1% higher than a year earlier. QİA.az
