Task Force: Azerbaijan confirms 2,597 new coronavirus cases
Azerbaijan recorded 2,597 new COVID-19 cases, Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told “QİA.AZ”. As many as 1,354 people recovered from the infection, while 23 patients lost their lives over the past day. So far, 83,994 people have contracted coronavirus in Azerbaijan, 59,465 have recovered, while 1,053 died. At present, 23,476 people are receiving treatment. Azerbaijan has conducted 1,562,442 coronavirus tests over the past period. Today’s test number is 12,874.

Azerbaijan has made it mandatory to wear face masks in outdoor spaces across the country to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
