The 60th fuel filling station of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) opened in Romania yesterday, “QİA.AZ” informs.
The new SOCAR-branded gas station is located in the Bihor region on the Hungarian-Romanian border.
The station is the fourth SOCAR-branded petrol station in the region and the 16th to be opened in Romania this year. As in any petrol station, gasoline and diesel fuels are sold to customers, as well as local and Azerbaijani products at the “Nar” cafe in the area.
Monitors installed at all points of SOCAR throughout the country regularly show videos promoting Azerbaijan. Under the company’s strategic plan, SOCAR will continue to expand its network of filling stations in Romania in the coming years.
At present, the company has SOCAR-branded filling stations in 24 regions of Romania. SOCAR operates in Romania through SOCAR Petroleum SA, established in 2011.
