Amount of mutual investments between Ukraine and Azerbaijan unveiled

In January-March this year, Azerbaijan invested $ 170.5 million in Ukraine, Report informs, citing Teresi Ukrainian-Azerbaijani Business Association.

According to the official response of the Deputy Economy Minister of Ukraine Irina Novikova to the letter of the head of Association Jalal Huseynov, this figure is 0.5% more than at the end of 2020 and 12.2% less than at the end of 2019.

In general, Azerbaijan has invested about $ 2 billion in Ukraine over the past few years, while Ukraine, with 215 companies in Azerbaijan, has invested only $ 25 million in our country.

Note that the foreign trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in January-July 2021 amounted to $ 466.943 million, 10% less than a year earlier. Of this, $ 210.379 million fell to exports and $ 256.563 million to imports. During the reporting period, exports decreased by 22.9%, while imports increased by 4.3%.
