Pashinyan threatens reprisals against protesters in Yerevan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said the protesters who took to the streets in Yerevan after Armenia’s surrender in the war for Karabakh would be held accountable.

“QİA.AZ” informs citing Armenian media that in his address to the nation, Pashinyan promised to ‘severely punish’ all the instigators of Yerevan pogroms.

“Some of the rioters in Yerevan were in Karabakh, but they left their positions and fled for some reason. There is a general among them. I officially declare that all the instigators will be punished to the fullest extent of the law,” the prime minister said.
